Operation Headstart is an organization that provides families of
pre-school children with information regarding, New York City’s,
independent school admissions process.
Operation Headstart produces community outreach events such as
workshops,parent panels discussions, speakers and movie nights.
Operation Headstart provides these services to parents groups, pre-schools
and various non-profit organization.
Mission
Operation Headstart mission is to bring awareness to families, about the
opportunities that an independent school setting provides students. we are
committed to sharing this information to communities that are under
served.
Our aim is to inspire families to take ownership of navigating the
educational environment that parents wish for ther child to experience.
Diana Bromfield
The founder of Operation Headstart, firmly believes in teaching families the power of choice. The
importance of being intentional in creating the academic environment that parents wish for their child to experience. Armed with crucial firsthand information knowledge and practical advice, Diana is able to provide a perspective that will support and empower parents with their decision to explore an independent schools. Her volunteer and non-profit experience provide her with significant insight into the operation and culture of independent schools.
In addition
To her work with Operation Headstart, Diana lends her support to organizations that provide resources and academic enrichment to students of color, to further their educational pursuits. As a parent and a member of the independent school community, she assists her son’s school with admission and diversity efforts. Diana has also participated in numerous panel discussions and educational forums for such organizations as A better Chance, The Parent’s League of New York and Jack and Jill Inc. Diana lives with her son in New York, New York.
